has a positive impact in the Gainesville community, because a competitive
market means that companies will be doing their best to offer the best service
at the best price. Also, it gives residents an opportunity for another source
of income and increases the earnings and expenses in the area of UF.

to be lifted. But after president Trump started his administration it only went
backward.

to Cuba are covering demand effectively, due to unexpected shifts in
demographic preferences. Miami has an overwhelming demand and is not fully
attended while in other cities are having issues to fill the airplane’s seats
with passengers.

Ryan Kennedy, from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health about air
pollution in four cruise ships last year. He found that the number of ultrafine
particles (which are harmful for the human body) is higher than expected on these
ships, and he even compared them to cities like Taipei and Beijing. The author includes
the reaction of cruise lines executives and their answers were basically that such
studies weren’t scientifically relevant and were inaccurate, and that while the
ship is moving there is no risk.

The problem-opportunity here is the finding that
probably air in cruise ships is not as healthy as the public thought and organizations
should dig deeper in this to find a real answer. It is proven that ultrafine
particles and harmful and carcinogens and laws should be established to protect
human lives.

In this case everyone traveling in a cruise will
be affected by the pollution in the air, and my biggest concern is the ship employees
who are exposed to such particles all the time.
Government shutdown strains emerge in US air travel system

This article talks about the aftermath of the
partial government shutdown for 34 days and counting. The author talks about
how airport staffs are very upset about the situation and cannot afford to go
to work without getting paid anymore. It also makes reference to the effect that
this is having in airlines, which have seen their revenues greatly affected due
to fear in public. David Koenig (the author) says that so far security and air
controllers haven’t been compromised, but the lack of TSA staff has created
long waiting lines in airports.

The problem is that due to the government
shutdown many federal employees are not receiving their paycheck and are very upset
about it. It’s been 34 days already and it has started to be visible the lack
of motivation and efficiency at work, a lot of people are absent to their
position and it is only getting worse

In this situation the most affected people by
the government shutdown is the airport staff, who depend on their wages to live
and some of them have kids to feed. It is very sad to here that, as always, blue
collars are the most affected by the decisions of the top executives of the
country.
